We are proud to have contributed to the implementation of a project that is important for the Lithuanian health sector. Here is a more extensive comment from Kaunas clinics about the device and photos from the lifting operation:

“A cyclotron, an important device for health care and science, was delivered to the Nuclear Medicine Research Center under construction in Kaunas clinics.

The cyclotron and special laboratory equipment will allow the production of radiopharmaceuticals needed for positron emission tomography (PET) studies. Currently, Lithuania purchases radiopharmaceuticals from foreign countries. Still, bringing some compounds from foreign countries is impossible due to their short decay time. With the possibility to produce these radiopharmaceutical compounds in Kaunas clinics, the diagnosis of various oncological, cardiology, neurological, and other diseases will become even earlier and more accurate.

The Nuclear Medicine Research Center will not only help improve the health of citizens. It will also allow scientists to conduct research and develop new diagnostic and treatment methods. „

We thank Kaunas Clinics for the photos!
